Director of Commissioning and Provider Services 

We are seeking an ambitious leader who can see beyond organisational boundaries to shape person centred commissioning services and deliver high‑quality direct provision. You will deliver value‑for‑money support that helps people live well, independently and with dignity, shaping the provider market and overseeing in‑house services to assure safe and sustainable provision across the full commissioning cycle. Working with internal colleagues and partners, you will drive our ILED transformation, using data and lived experience to improve outcomes and financial sustainability while leading with integrity, empathy and purpose. 

Director of Quality and Safeguarding 

This is a unique opportunity to shape safeguarding and quality across Trafford. Working closely with the Corporate Director, wider leadership team and partners, you will ensure strong, council‑wide safeguarding through effective partnerships, policies and a culture of learning and accountability. You will lead a consistent approach that protects adults and carers while, ensuring the delivering high‑quality services. Driving assurance and improvement, you will embed learning from audits, resident feedback and serious incidents, ensuring we are fully prepared for CQC’s new assurance framework, bringing strategic insight and forward-thinking leadership.
